KL Observation Trip – 15 to 17 Jun 2015
This Studio focused on consumer insights in Singapore and Malaysia, integrating the use of Design Thinking principles to understand consumer preferences towards pasta sauces. An observation trip was conducted in KL where the team was able to gain further research insights and understand how consumers made their pasta sauce purchases. In depth interviews were also conducted to better understand consumers’ perspectives towards pasta sauces, and their experience when purchasing them.
The team documented and collated behavioural patterns and insights into the consumer’s experience when purchasing pasta sauces based on flavour preferences, price point and packaging.
The research outcomes of this studio were used to support Singapore Polytechnic’s Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) in creating new pasta sauces for Barilla Singapore.
This studio was in collaboration with P&G Singapore and Jakarta, focused on understanding consumers in Indonesia with regards to Topical Decongestants.
